The FilmGym and Zora Space Screening Series

After a very successful screening at Zora Art Space last week, The FilmGym wants to thank everyone who came out and supported the filmmakers and their award winning shorts. We’re planning to continue with a monthly Screening Series in collaboration with Zora Art Space. If you have a short or feature film which played in at least one festival or is a work in progress, please submit your info to sayhi@filmgym.com.

We’re looking forward to another screening in April and hope to support short films and the local film community. Keep it coming, folks.

The FilmGym thanks all the people who have helped and supported this year’s projects and celebrates a dandy year. We’re planing on further developing The FilmGym Community and several projects for 2011 are in development.

Two feature films are on the horizon, one of which is a collaboration of five New York based filmmakers to tell a story in each borough. Stay tuned for “I AM NY” (Working Title) as we start pre-production in late February. “The State Of Being” (Working Title), a feature film script that won the Digital Filmmaker Price at IFP will finally be realized and besides all that, a smashing “How The F**k Did It Get To Be 2011?” party to say good bye to a roller coaster year.

Cheerzzzz.
